the skies darken earlier
the air gets cooler
i'm behind my homework
this can only mean one thing
it is fall
one of my favorite seasons of the year
why?
well its not extremely hot like summer
and not extremely cold like winter
the scene becomes extremely beautiful with a sea of red, orange, and brown
i love wearing layers
so that's an excuse to shop (teehee)
3 weeks into school and can i just say this is the busiest I've ever been?!
vice presidency is no joke this year in the fraternity
especially when greek night is earlier than expected
i've managed to somehow someway work everything out
and needless to say, i'm proud of myself
we have three AMAZING new guys for the fraternity and i'm extremely happy with them
each of them has something different to offer and it makes us even more eclectic
tomorrow we get to pick big and little brothers and i'm crossing my fingers for me to get my first choice
in other news can i just say it's ridiculous how much 3 months can change a person?
hanging out with everyone has made me realize how much we've all grown
sure we still get silly on the weekends and sure we still procrastinate but...
something's different
it's kind of like everything is finally set in motion
no one seems to be lost
no one seems to be in the mist
everything is finally looking clear
looking back at all of my blabbling over the summer over certain situations has made me realize how completely childish is was
i've also come to realize how completely out of character i was all of last year
i've come to NYU with a purpose
and that wasn't to make me the biggest mess possible
it was to make something of myself
to make a name for the sake of my family
my heritage
and my diversity
with this year that goal has been renewed
and you know what?
it feels amazing
and time for something else i haven't done in a while: music!

this girl is extremely brand new and absolutely brilliant. think of her as the lovechild of bjork and imogen heap with a bit of frankmusik to boot. she has an angelic and orgasmic voice and the production is amazing. she usually works with frankmusik's protege, starsmith. also check out her label's blog which is pretty tight. http://neongoldrecords.blogspot.com/
