we'll be back after this commercial break...

This week might be the psychological end of me. So I have a meeting tonight at 8:30, followed by rehearsal for Greek Night at MIDNIGHT! Tomorrow I have a group meeting at 10am followed by class at 12:30 followed by work at 2. Then it's time to pick it up and head to Kimmel (NYU building) where I will be from 7pm-11pm for the Skit/Dance. We don't go on till 11 because we are the last ones (although our dance and skit are ridiculously good...stay tuned for results). Then Wednesday I have class at 9:30am but then I have an appointment at 10:45am, so I'm missing class essentially for the first part of the day. Lab at 3pm and then it's off to Coles (another NYU building) for the last night of Greek Night (yes i know it's more than one night). Thursday will be filled with me studying for my Econ midterm on Friday. This weekend will be the Eastern Regional Conference for my fraternity. Yes this is a week's worth of work. The good news? Major Lazer on Saturday and Kylie Minogue on Monday. Ahhhh, the light at the end of the never ending tunnel. So as you wait for me to update you guys on my survival some music? Say hi to Starsmith.

This man right here is Frankmusik's protege. If you know "A Beautiful Mess" well enough you know how much Frank is loved. Now whereas Frank's production style is a lot more frantic, eccentric, almost rave-y, Starsmith is a bit more mellow (but don't count out the rave-y bits out). Starsmith is the main producer behind the beautiful Ms. Ellie Goulding (they called themselves Goldsmith/you heard her last week!). Starsmith has a lot of variation in his sound. He can be very synthy and very pop and he can go into a ballad complete with strings and mellow synths. It's kind of a cross between Imogen Heap production and Frankmusik's production. The only things out there at the moment are his remixes but I cannot wait for his album. In the meantime here's a couple of my favorite remixes.
